Start on Hard difficulty. XP bonus is worth it with Helltide's 50% XP. Move up when elites die fast.

Complete the LoH campaign first. Unlocks War Plans, campaign skip for alts, Mercenaries, Horadric Cube, Talisman.

Save Obols until 70. Vendors give 850 item power at max level. Huge head start.
IV
Horadric Cube. Upgrade common → legendary. Best for target-farming uniques (e.g., gloves → Gohr's or Dawnfire).
V
Talisman system. Equip Seal + 5 matching Charms (set bonus) + 1 Unique Charm. Endgame sets are build-defining.
VI
Mercenaries. Hire 1 + 1 reinforcement. Raheir (tank/DR) and Varyana (attack speed) most common. Aldkin (Field of Languish) for DR option.
VII
Runewords. Ritual + Invocation in weapons/armor. Key combos: Moni+Ceh (Vulnerable), Cem+Gar (Crit), Igni+Prid (auto Dark Prison), Cir+Ceh (Freeze+Vulnerable).
VIII
Level cap 70. Pit Tier 10 → Torment 1. 14 extra skill points from Renown/Season Ranks (83 total). Paragon opens at 70.
